The story is about a young man who suffers from an incurable, neurological disease called “Narcolepsy”.
There are only a limited amount of treatments available. Whenever he laughs he loses complete muscle tone and is paralysed for a few moments.
The film illustrates the daily struggles and inner conflicts that take place in people with narcolepsy.
It is a coming of age story and coming to terms with the disorder. Noah goes through the ups and downs (but mostly downs) of being a teenager, having a social life, a love life and an academic career whilst battling his constant state of exhaustion.
When everything goes south he decides to go on a trip with his bike which turns into an adventurous life lesson.
